Hoover Dam

On the way home from Disneyland this summer we decided to stop at Hoover Dam. I know that it has a lot of history, but to explain it to a 6 and 3 year old we explained it a different way. When they kept asking why we were going there and what we were going to see, Skip and I said we are going to see where they kept the allspark (in the tower behind us.) Now this got the boys very excited, because then we got to see where Optimus Prime landed, Frenzy slide down the damn and much more.

Happy Birthday Gage!!!

Today Gage turns 6!! It is crazy to believe that he his already that old. I don't have any baby pictures of him on the computer, but here is last summer and one of this morning. Happy Birthday Gager!!! We love you!!

Garden Time

It is that time of year again. We are dumping horse and chicken poop and tilling the ground. We are ready for spring. Here is a picture of my two great helpers. They love to help dig in the dirt. Cade also likes to point out the horse poop. We were out planting our peas, which now are about 3-4 inches tall and the boys can hardly wait for fresh peas. We couldn't find our shovels and other garden tools-so we improvised. We used a plastic spoon to plant. The boys thought it was funny, but I think it worked out better than the shovel! And of course, we had to have the seeds and the diet pepsi.

Grandma's Turkey

Boy, this turkey is heavy!

Grandpa is trying to help Gage and Caliber get a good hold on it. Grandma got her turkey on April 26th. The boys had so much fun. Gage had looked forward to the hunt since everyone put in for the draw. Here is a picture of the boys and the turkey.

Finally!!

I have to shout from the roof tops that I (with help from a doctor and friends) figured out why I can't run outside. I always thought it was just in my head, but it was actually (not) in my lungs. I knew my body could do it. I can now run out side with the help of my new friend in the picture!! Working out has never been so exciting!
