My Nanny

I got my nanny on opening morning, September 29. The hunt was short and sweet. We walked out on this point and spotted 10 goats. They were walking and eating on both sides of the point. Boy, was it hard to tell if the goats are nannies or billies. It took us a while to decide and finally we ( I say we, because I needed Dad's help identifing the nanny- there was no way I could tell by myself) decided on this one.
She is a pretty big nanny; her horns are 9 inches long. Here is a picture of the hunting party. Skippy, Dad, Kirt (Skippy's brother), Kregg (the camera guy), and I all met and left at 5 a.m. We were off the mountain and back home by 5 p.m.

Congratulations!!!!!

Shame on me, but I like the quick and easy hunts also--I don't mind the camping, and if there is riding horses I love it; but I'm lazy to the getting up early, hiking and looking ALL day and then back late at night only to start over again. I guess I will now be disowned by the family (if I haven't been already).
