Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell for a week. We had lots of fun. The house boat was being repaired so we got to see it out of the water. It was huge. Gage is so tiny compared to it.
We found a shady spot and stayed there for the whole week. We only had sun in the morning. It made a very nice camping spot. Gage caught the first fish of the trip. It was a catfish. Bailee later caught a huge suckerfish.
The toys were having problems, but we found lots of fun things to do. The boys played in the water and the sand, rode the toys when they ran, shot BB guns, and just enjoyed each other. Gage was even jumping off a small cliff and swimming by himself (with his lifejacket). He stayed by us but it was soo cool to see him swimming. Cade even enjoyed floating in the tube while we pulled it. Remember when Gage sat in it in 2006? Cade didn't sit, he had to stand up. It was cute and funny.
One day while Kirt was napping Doreen painted his toenails a bright red. It made for some very pretty toes. My picture does not do it justice.
It was a great trip.
